Thanks for considering becoming a Dave Kahle Learning Systems affiliate. Below you'll find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding the program. If you have a question that is not answered or would like additional information, please send us an email with your questions and we will do our best to reply to your request.
How does an affiliate program work?
It is actually quite simple. After you have signed up for the program, we will activate your account (usually within 24 hours). Once activated you can log into a secure area on Dave's website where you can get your unique affiliate code and track all your marketing efforts. You simply place the code on the web pages that you want to promote the program on. When a visitor clicks from your site to ours, your unique affiliate code is registered and it allows the software to track the visitor through their entire stay at Dave's site. A cookie is placed in their browser, so if they leave the site and return later we can still see that they initially came from your site. When a purchase is executed for any of the programs or services on Dave's site, the affiliate software sends you a notification that a sale has been generated and we are notified to credit your account.
How soon can I become an affiliate?
You can sign up today. You'll be notified within 10 days if your application has been approved.
The online application consists of some basic information that is quick and easy to fill out. All submissions are reviewed weekly.
What happens after I get accepted?
Once you have been accepted as an affiliate, you will be granted access to a section on the website where graphics and affiliate code are kept. That code should be placed on the portion of your site or Ezine where you would like to promote Dave Kahle's products. Once the HTML is published, it will act as an affiliate link. When someone clicks on the link, a cookie will be placed on his or her browser. That cookie will act as a tracking device for The DaCo Corporation affiliate software. If the visitor ends up purchasing a product within 365 days, that cookie alerts us - and you - of the sale.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are basically a small text string that are generated by a webserver and stored through a visitors browser in a cookies folder on the computers hard drive. Information flows back and forth from the website to the user’s browser and stores specific information about each visit to the website that generated the cookie. In our case the cookie generates a specific identification number that includes your affiliate code so we can recognize that a visitor originally came from your website to ours. What if my visitor doesn't accept cookies?
Studies have shown that only 1% of browsers these days are configured to reject cookies, so the chances of that are small. But the presence of the cookie on the purchaser's browser is necessary to track the sale back to the Affiliate link.
What do you pay your affiliates?
We pay 20% of the total sale of books, tapes, and phone seminars (not including tax and shipping). And if other affiliates sign up through your links, you earn 2% on whatever is purchased through their sites. Consulting, customized training and speaking engagements are specifically excluded from this Affiliate Program.
When do you pay your affiliates?
We write you a check at the end of any month in which you've accumulated at least US $25 in unpaid commissions. We pay through PayPal. If you have not earned $25 in any given month, your commissions will be rolled over into the next month.
Do I need to have a website?
No, you may offer Dave's products in your ezine, print media or any other off-line formats with prior approval. As an alternative, for a fee we could help you to create a website to offer Dave's products and services. NOTE: If you are planning on reselling Dave's products and services completely off-line, you'll need to contact us for details about Dave's associate program.
What happens if someone returns something?
We have a very low return ratio! But if someone you refer does return a product, the commission amount will be subtracted from your next commission check.
How do you keep track of my sales?
When a visitor clicks through from one of your links, they are tracked with our advanced software technology giving you credit for each referring sale for both you and any sub-affiliates.
Can I check stats in real time?
Yes, you can monitor all of your sales for both you and any sub-affiliates in real time through your own administration page.
How long do you pay your affiliates?
As long as you continue promoting The DaCo Corporation product line, you will continue to receive commissions on your traffic that results in a sale. Commissions will even be paid on customers that revisit our website in the future and purchase products, as long as you keep promoting our product line.
Can Non-US residents become affiliates?
Yes, we welcome international affiliates. We pay in US funds, and will try to observe your preference for payment by PayPal. The DaCo Corporation is a Verified PayPal Member. Residents of more than 50 countries can set up a PayPal account. In certain countries you can also transfer funds from your PayPal account to a local bank account, making international money transfers easy.

What if the visitor clicks on another Affiliate link to the Merchant site after clicking on yours?
The most recently traveled link gets credit for the sales commission.
Can I sign up as an affiliate and receive a discount on my products?
We do NOT pay our affiliates commissions on their own purchases. You pay the regular price. If you are caught purchasing through your affiliate program, you will be immediately deactivated as an affiliate of The DaCo Corporation.
How much can I make?
There is no limit on the amount of commission you can generate, the more you promote Dave's products, the more you will make. Note: Any US resident that makes over $600 during any calendar year will be issued a 1099 for tax purposes.
