This course provides an introduction to the job of the professional salesperson. It is appropriate for new salespeople, both inside and outside, and for any employee who needs to be familiar with the salesperson’s responsibilities. This two-hour course describes the basic sales processes and competencies necessary for success in B2B sales in terms anyone can understand. It is interactive and contains optional application exercises to help train new salespeople. It concludes with an exam.
The lesson topics are:
1. The job of the salesperson
2. Understanding what a salesperson does
3. Level II sales processes
4. The thread that ties it all together
5. What this requires from you
6. Acquiring appointments
7. Managing yourself
8. Understanding a sales call
9. Connecting with the customer
10. Learning about the customer
11. Presenting to the customer
12. Agreeing with the customer
13. Reviewing the sales call
14. Final exam.
The course takes approximately two hours to complete, not including the optional application exercises. With the optional application exercises it can take as long as six hours. $55.00
